Dr. Grinberg earned his Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Hofstra University, in Hempstead, NY. He subsequently earned his MD at SUNY, Stony Brook, before completing his residency in Anesthesiology at Yale.

After spending three years as a clinical assistant professor of Anesthesiology at SUNY Stony Brook, Dr. Grinberg became the founding partner of NM Anesthesia Associates, which began by providing all anesthesia services at New Milford Hospital in New Milford, CT. During his tenure at New Milford, Dr. Grinberg's commitment to constantly improving anesthetic patient care earned him the respect of the entire hospital community . After seeing the practice to its current level of success Dr. Grinberg left NM Anesthesia Associates, and, seeking a more varied practice, joined Milford Anesthesia Associates.

Those who have worked with Dr. Grinberg cite his unusual and often creative approach to problem solving as one of his greatest strong suits. He combines his understanding of the underlying scientific principles of anesthesia with a high regard for his patient's safety and comfort.  Here are a few words from dr. grinberg:

A routine day for those of us who work in operating rooms is never a routine day for you.  We understand that surgery,  by its nature,  is a scary, uncomfortable  experience that few people would ever go through voluntarily, were it not for the modern miracle of anesthesia.  As such we can make you calm prior to your surgery, keep you safe while it is occurring and keep you comfortable afterward.  I have been very fortunate in my profession, first for practicing in a time where we have been given a wonderful array of monitors, techniques and medications which make taking care of you much safer and easier than it has ever been and second for working with so many wonderful partners and colleagues.  I look forward to listening to your needs and keeping you safe, comfortable and cared for.
