Dr. Gray earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut and received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. After medical school he completed a transitional internship year of medicine and surgery through Tufts University School of Medicine affiliate, The Carney Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology in 2004 through Harvard Medical School affiliate, Brigham and Women's Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts. During his internship year and three years of residency Dr. Gray held faculty positions at Tufts University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School respectfully.
Prior to embarking on a medical career, Dr. Gray worked for some of the worlds largest medical companies holding roles in sales, management and marketing. After several years as a business professional in industry he went back to school to become a physician.
Dr. Gray also performed independent basic science research in neuronal pathways and neurotransmitters involved in nociception and pain management. Dr. Gray has published his research in several peer review journals and has presented his findings at several regional, national and international meetings. He holds a certificate of completion from the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and is eligible to sit for the national anesthesia boards. Throughout his career, Dr. Gray has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards for his work and has authored many scientific abstracts and journal articles. His particular areas of interest include obstetrical, pediatric regional and general anesthesia as well as difficult airway management. Dr. Gray spent almost one year of his training between Children's Hospital Boston and Brigham and Women's Hospital's obstetrical unit. Both are premier teaching locations for Harvard Medical School. Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital Boston have consistently ranked as two of the finest medical facilities in the United States by US News and World Report.
Dr. Gray is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologist, the Connecticut State society of Anesthesiologists, the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American Osteopathic Association and holds licenses to practice medicine in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Hello, after I completed training in some of the finest facilities throughout New England my wife and I are happy to come home to Connecticut. Being a Connecticut native, I feel a special bond to the people I serve. I look forward to providing the best medical care available to my patients. As a member of Milford Anesthesia Associates, I feel our medical practitioners provide the finest anesthesia services that are unmatched anywhere. I received my medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000 and completed my anesthesia training through Harvard Medical School affiliate institutions. I have an interest in regional and general anesthesia services, monitored sedation, difficult airway management, pediatric and obstetrical anesthesia. I am broadly trained in all aspects of anesthesia, perioperative medicine and pain management, and enjoy providing all treatment approaches, from the simplest to the most advanced.
